Trial Purpose
The REVEAL trial aims to determine whether anacetrapib 100mg daily will be able to reduce LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol), and raise HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol), and reduce the risk of heart attacks and surgical procedures.
Patient Eligibility Requirements
We are looking for patients who are 50 years of age or older and fit into one of the following categories:
- Have a history of a heart attack
- History of a stroke
- PAD (Peripheral Arterial Disease)
- Diabetes and history of a stent or CABG
