Trial Purpose
This study will test whether darapladib in addition to standard therapy can safely lower the chances of having a cardiovascular event (such as a heart attack or stroke) when treatment is started within 30 days after an acute coronary syndrome (also called ACS) in high risk patients. Darapladib has been shown to decrease plaque inflammation and necrotic core.
Patient Eligibility Requirements
We are looking for patients who have had a cardiovascular event within the past 30 days.
