Dr
Laszlo Fuzesi attended college at Princeton University where he
received in BA in Biology (cum laude). He then went on to to
Hospital for Special Surgery for a year in research. He then
received his Medical Degree from Cornell University. Dr Fuzesi
finished his internship and residency at Thomas Jefferson University in
Pennsylvania. He did a fellowship at Columbia University in
Cardiac Transplantation , and then followed up with a Post-Doctoral
Residency at The Presbyterian Hospital in Cardiothoracic
Surgery.
Dr Fuzesi successfully passed certification exams from the American
Board of Surgery, American Board of Thoracic Surgery and National Board
of Medical Examiners. Dr Fuzesi is affiliated with the
Transplant Society of New Jersey, International Society of Heart
Transplantation, International Society of Transplant Surgeons he is
also a Fellow for the Society of Thoracic Surgery, New York Society of
Thoracic Surgery. Dr Fuzesi is also a qualified Unos
Surgeon. Dr Fuzesi hold staff appointments at Albany
Medical Center Hospital.
Dr Fuzesi interests are Heart Transplantation as well as Adult Cardiac
Surgery . Dr Fuzesi has completed over 300 heart transplants and
over 100 artificial heart assist devices.
