Dr. Gay attended Trinity College where he graduated in 1965. He received his medical degree at Yale University Medical School in New Haven, CT in 1969. He completed his Medical Residency at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. He then completed his Fellowship in Cardiology at the Albany Medical Center in 1974.
Dr. Gay is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American of Cardiology. He is on staff at St. Peter's Hospital, the Albany Medical Center, and Albany Memorial Hospital in Albany, NY.
Dr. Gay's cardiology specialities include general cardiovascular disease with a special interest in hypertension, congestive heart failure, ischemic heart disease, and echocardiography.
Dr. Gay lives with his wife in Loudonville, NY. When he is not practicing cardiology he enjoys sailing.
