Dr. Manuel Tapia grew up in Schenectady, NY. He graduated Cum Laude from Temple University with a major in Kinesiology. He attended SUNY Downstate Medical Center and completed his internal medicine residency at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City. After his post-graduate training downstate, Dr. Tapia returned home to the Capital District to train further in Cardiovascular Disease at Albany Medical Center. Dr. Tapia joined Capital Cardiology Associates in the summer of 2017. He is also fluent in Spanish; including medical Spanish.
